Billy has had a residency at Vincitorio’s Italian Restaurant in Tempe, AZ since 2014, playing four to five nights weekly. Mixing Jazz with Pop music, sprinkling in favorite Classical selections, and effortlessly gliding from one genre to another, his style perfectly fits this 5 star restaurant with a laid back feel.
Dueling Pianos Show
Billy and his friend Pete Wilson created the Dueling Pianos Show at Vincitorios as a once a month special event at the restaurant. Mixing the Dueling Pianos Sing-a-Long concept with the outstanding cuisine and extensive wine list proved to be a perfect match! Jazz Night
Jazz night at Vincitorios was Billy’s brain child, as he saw a way to generate some excitement and variety in the musical offerings at Vincitorios. Billy was at first joined by drummer Nick Segall until he left at the end of 2018. Saxophonist Jermaine Lokhart joined Billy on stage until March of 2020.
In May of 2017, Billy and Sarah Vanell began their musical journey together. Sarah has been performing at Vincitorios since 2009, in a different section of the restaurant. She and Billy joined forces on the stage in the Vincitorios Wine Bar, and as they say, “The Rest is History”. Beginning on Sunday nights, then adding Thursdays starting in September of 2022, Billy and Sarah have amassed a loyal following who enjoy their music and engaging personalities. In 2023, Sarah and Billy created spotlight shows, including “Ladies of the 70’s, Ladies of the 80’s, Ladies of the 90’s, and The Unforgettable Ladies of the 1940’s through the 1960’s. These productions were massively popular and played to a sold out restaurant time after time.
